We are please to have just a few bottles of the Limited Penderyn Rich Madiera Filnish Edition.
Each Year Penderyn makes a special edition of whisky, of superlative quality and of only one barrel in quantity. At cask strength of 54.3 % alc/vol with a Rich Madeira finish, this edition is limited to less than 200 bottles. Described as "Glorious" in Jim Murrays Whisky Bible 2009 and given a rating of 96.5, rating, it is in the "Superstar" category. This limited edition is from the same barrel as the whisky presented to Prince Charles on the official opening of the Peneryn Visitor Centre.
The branding on this unique edition reflects the cask stencil effect. It has a hand written label to verify cask strength, cask number and bottle number. Each bottle is signed by the Master Distiller and world renowned distilling and wood expert, Dr Jim Swan.
Each bottle is presented in a hand made American oak box (American oak is used to make the barrels in which Penderyn is matured), which was specially commissioned for Penderyn Distillery and produced locally.
