The Welsh Whisky Company is proud to announce the issue of a limited edition of Penderyn to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Welsh Rugby Union. This limited edition was honoured with "Silver Best in Class" award in the Worldwide Whisky category in the International Wine & Spirit competition 2007.
The specially selected Whisky with a rich Madeira finish, at 50% ABV, is presented in a specially designed commemorative leather case that highlights the notable events of the WRU history, with a certificate of authenticity signed by the company Chairman. This is a limited edition of 1,250 bottles. Normally delivered within 48 hours.
In his fourth edition of the international best-selling 'Jim Murray's Whisky Bible', Jim Murray awarded the WRU 125th Anniversary Edition 95 out of 100 with a score of 23 for nose and 24 for taste, balance and finish.
