After G'Vine made their great Floraison, they embarked on a variation and called it Nouaison. It could be considered a slightly more traditional gin, with the juniper kick of a London Dry and with more spice.
The Floraison captures the floral essence of the green grape flower. The Nouaison goes one step on and uses the green grape bud after the flower has set. The bud changes its aromas and flavour from floral to spicey.
G'Vine Nouaison tastes silky, intensely spicy and subtly floral, fruity and rich. The flavours are complex with aromas of cinnamon bark, baked citrus and floral juniper, which follow through to a round, silky, zesty and robust and very sharp, solid flavour character.
The finish is a powerful interplay of juniper, herb, wood and floral notes while being ripe and fruity and citrusy - quite complex and offering a great range of flavours to mix other ingredient with.
G'Vine Nouaison amplifies the aromas of the spices, yet retains the sensual and silky grape base of Floraison along with the subtle floral notes. Nouaison is superb in a dry martini or other dry cocktail, offering an alternative to the classic London Dry style.
