This is the award-winning and first-ever genuine whisky ale!
1488 is made on the site of Scotland's first ever brewery, a purveyor of fine ales enjoying the royal patronage of King James IV after his coronation in 1488.
This remarkable Ale is brewed with the pure crystal spring water and malted barley used in the distillation process. 1488 is conditioned in individually numbered oak casks for up to 12 weeks, which have been recently disgorged after maturing the majestic Tullibardine single malt Scotch whisky. This results in a glorious rich natural malt whisky colour, a light Tullibardine whisky aroma and a clean fresh whisky aftertaste. The beers distinctive character is beautifully balanced by the lightness of touch so familiar to Tullibardine whisky connoisseurs the world over. The packaging makes this product stand out from any other, gold embossed neck and gold leafed label.
This truly majestic ale is best drunk cold, perhaps being chased by a dram of your favourite Tullibardine single malt Scotch whisky.
This award-winning whisky beer is now available in Australia, to be enjoyed by all who like a full-flavoured beer.
