The Grain
For producing vintage vodka the wheat of one single harvest is used only in the years when the finest wheat grains are identified. In particular for vintage of 2002 and of 2003 the high quality wheat was collected in different leading agricultural Russian regions in 2002 and in 2003 respectively.
The choice of regions will vary from year to year depending on the quality of wheat production.
The purpose of using the wheat of one single harvest is to ensure consistency, to guarantee quality and to retain continuity of style.

The Spirit
The distillery where Vodka Kauffman is produced possesses its own spirit production facility that allows our specialists to control the process through all the stages of producing ethylic rectified spirit (vodka), namely:
    * quality of the sourced wheat;
    * storage conditions of the wheat;
    * high technological facilities for producing raw spirit and 40% ethylic rectified spirit.
To produce Vodka Kauffman Luxury and Selected four-time rectified spirits Luxe' and Extra' are used respectively. This process depends on the amount of careful additions required to produce the final vodka.

The Water
It is imperative to use soft pure water taken from natural resources in order to get the highest quality vodka. In the case of Vodka Kauffman the water is subject to double filtration: through Sodium-cation filters and two rectifying processes that reduces additives and contributes to retaining the subtle flavors and delicate taste.

Control
The control of the quality of Vodka Kauffman is affected by three chromatographs - one during the spirit production and two during the vodka production.

Production of Vodka Kauffman is in accordance to the traditional schema of producing highest quality vodka that insists on filtration of the vodka through birch-coal columns accompanied by preliminary and final filtration through quartz sand. The Formula of Vodka Kauffman is certified by 11 patents in the Russian Federation.

Bottle Design
The bottle and the packaging are truly inspirational and contribute to the idea of the product of the XXI century.
The design of the bottle is realized at Saint Gobaine facility in France, one of the best enterprises in Europe, famous for the production of Cognac bottles including XO and Extra levels. The bottles of Kauffman Luxury and Selected are made of the equivalent quality to perfume glass.
