Excellia benefits from the influence of three different regions and two cultures: - Los Altos (Jalisco, Mexico) generating sweet, soft and fruity agave
- Sauternes region (France) providing delicate dried fruit and flower notes and a perfect balance between acidity and sugar
- Cognac region (France) producing the finest brandy (Cognac) and its so specific rancio character
To create Excellia, Jean-Sébastien Robicquet and Carlos Camarena marry the two different aged tequilas and elaborate different recipes for the Blanco, Reposado and Añejo, having the same goal: the consistency of each aromatic profile. The cognac and sauternes barrels are like music notes put together for a perfect symphony. The blend provides a perfect balance between the spiciness of the agave, the opulence of the sauternes wine and the cognacs rich rancio. |
